What is SoftSol Cloud?
SoftSol Cloud is a hosted Nextcloud platform at ark.softsol.co.za. Each client organisation gets secure file storage, Deck task boards, document collaboration via Collabora, and system email notifications — all managed and maintained by SoftSol on our private South African infrastructure.
You get the productivity of a modern cloud workspace without surrendering control of your data to a public hyperscaler. SoftSol handles hosting, updates, SSL, monitoring, and support so your team can focus on work, not servers.
What you get
Secure file storage & sharing
Organisation-scoped storage with controlled sharing, versioning, and access policies managed by SoftSol.
Deck task boards
Kanban-style boards for projects and workflows, with due-date reminders and team visibility.
Collabora document editing
Edit office documents in the browser — no desktop suite required for day-to-day collaboration.
System notifications
Outbound email for platform notifications, sharing alerts, and Deck reminders where configured.
Security baseline
Access controls, authentication policy, quota management, and optional two-factor authentication.
Fully managed platform
Hosting, SSL/TLS, software updates, security patches, and routine monitoring handled by SoftSol.
Product structure
SoftSol Cloud is sold as two complementary products. Organisation onboarding is required once per client; user seats are added per person who needs access.
Product 2
User seat
A licensed user with access to files, Deck, and 10 GB included storage. Organisation onboarding must be active. Each new user receives account setup, quota allocation, and welcome orientation.
